Zahra Ebrahimi Behfar

A multidisciplinary artist, I navigate the fluid space between art and design. My work is a fusion of the practical and the poetic, where sculptural forms meet functional objects. From grand installations to intimate jewelry, I exploreSaghi Behfar is a multidisciplinary artist and designer with a robust foundation in architectural engineering, interior architecture, and sculpture. This unique combination of disciplines empowers her to seamlessly integrate spatial design and diverse artistic skills into compelling projects that extend beyond public art and site-specific installations. she translates deeply rooted cultural stories—particularly those of human survival, femininity, and nature—into contemporary experiences. Her research-based practice unearths these narratives, bridging past and present to encourage reflection on our origins and future values.
Behfar’s work explores the resilience of women and our vital connection to the environment, translating profound cultural and environmental concerns into engaging forms. At the heart of her practice is a belief in art’s power for introspection and connection, reminding us of our shared origins and the importance of our relationship with the natural world. This extends to her involvement in group art therapy, fostering understanding and unity through creative expression.
Ultimately, Behfar’s art and therapeutic engagement aim to create moments of pause, inviting us to recognize our shared humanity and interconnectedness, fostering unity and a deep appreciation for life.
