DIV follows a woman’s journey of self-reclamation as she sheds traditional constraints and symbolically grows a horn—becoming a modern-day DIV, a figure of power and defiance. The video art begins in a confined basement space and unfolds into the outside world, culminating in a silent scream and a dance of liberation. The project evolved into a video installation at Dayhim Cultural House, featuring an interactive experience where viewers could wear elements from the film such as the horn and burqa and enter a photography room. Here, audiences engaged with real stories of struggle and resilience, transforming themselves into symbols of their own strength and agency.
